為什么要叫“反滲透”過濾？
當把同樣體積的稀溶液(比如淡水)和濃溶液(比如鹽水)分別放置半透膜的兩邊時，稀溶液中的溶劑將自然穿過半透膜而自發性地向濃溶液一邊流動，這一現象稱之為滲透。
當滲透達到平衡時，濃溶液側的液面會比稀溶液的液面高出一定高度，即形成一個壓差，此壓差即為滲透壓。
若在濃溶液一側施加一個大于滲透壓的壓力時，溶劑的流動方向將與原來的滲透方向相反，開始從濃溶液向稀溶液一側流動，這一過程稱為反滲透。
